Easy Neighbor Gift Loaves: Bake the Bread With Butter, Then Gift It With a Little “Something Extra”

Guided by the Gulf. Grounded by Integrity — Meredith Folger Amon, Gulf Coast Expert Real Estate Advisor
Guided by the Gulf. Grounded by Integrity.

I love the simplest possible version of a homemade gift: bake a Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough loaf, brush it with butter, let it cool, and present it with one easy add-on that makes it feel curated. No shaping, no slicing, no fuss.

My One-Step Loaf Method

  1. Thaw loaf in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Place in a greased loaf pan, let rise until puffy.
  3. Bake per package directions.
  4. Brush top with melted butter as soon as it comes out of the oven.
  5. Cool fully before wrapping for gifting.
