Flora-Bama Annual Event 2025 – Your Ultimate Guide

Flora-Bama’s Annual Event is a must-attend celebration along the Gulf Coast, combining live music, incredible food, a scenic beach run for charity, and the area’s signature coastal atmosphere. Whether you're participating in the Beach Run for America’s Warriors, enjoying fresh Gulf seafood, or taking in live entertainment, this event is a highlight of the year.

Flora-Bama’s 12th Annual Beach Run for America’s Warriors

The Flora-Bama Beach Run for America’s Warriors takes place on Saturday, March 15, 2025. This unique event runs entirely on the sand, offering participants breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. The 5K course heads west into Alabama, while the half marathon course leads east into Florida.

All proceeds from registration fees support the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides full scholarships, educational counseling, and immediate financial assistance to the families of fallen and severely wounded special operations personnel.

Race Registration Details

• Registration opens Tuesday, January 13, 2025
• 5K Walk/Run: $30 (1/13 - 2/24), $35 (2/25 - 3/9), $40 (3/10 - 3/15)
• Half Marathon: $85 (1/13 - 2/24), $100 (2/25 - 3/15)

Awards and Age Groups

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group for both the 5K and the half marathon. Special awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners.

Race day participants will enjoy a post-run celebration featuring food, drinks, and live entertainment. The first 400 registrants will receive a race T-shirt.

Flora-Bama Oyster Bar & Grill serves fresh oysters, seafood platters, and Southern comfort dishes with scenic waterfront views.

Flora-Bama Ole River Grill is known for its relaxed atmosphere, fresh seafood, and signature steaks, making it a great spot for a post-race meal.

Flora-Bama Yacht Club features a casual waterfront dining experience with island-inspired cocktails, fresh seafood, and nightly live music.
