We gave a facelift (some exterior and some interior) to our circa 1982 home. He is a pleasure to work with, incredibly detail oriented, threaded the needle on giving us a high end look with performance materials suitable for the beach environment and has great subs. We loved that he was on the island to check on the project frequently. Everything was on time and on budget and his communication with us was outstanding. We’ve done a lot of renovations in various cities and this is one of the best experiences we’ve had. I highly recommend!!"
"Last year we did an extensive exterior remodel to our home, thanks in part to Hurricane Sally but mostly due to deterioration from our coastal environment. It included all new siding, new windows, doors, retaining wall, stonework and roof work. We hired Mike McQuillen with McQuillen Custom Homes, who is also an Ono homeowner. We have worked with many contractors over the years, but McQuillen Custom Homes has been the best. They were wonderful to work with and always kept us in the loop with everything that was going on. We were out of the country for almost the entire remodel and Mike kept us informed with calls and pictures regularly. The thing that impressed us the most was the professionalism, knowledge and helpfulness of all the workers. Everyone on the team seemed to be personally invested in producing quality work and communicating clearly to the us. He doesn’t do handiwork but if you have a larger job, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him."
