Living the Coastal Life on Marina Road in Orange Beach, Alabama

One of my absolute favorite locations along the Alabama Gulf Coast is Marina Road in Orange Beach. This stretch of road truly captures the best of what our coastal lifestyle is all about—boating, dining, fishing, and of course, some of the most beautiful homes you’ll find anywhere in Orange Beach.

At the eastern end of Marina Road, you’ll find the public boat launch, which makes it so easy to get out on the water. From here, you can quickly reach Robinson Island, Walker Island, Perdido Pass, and the Gulf of Mexico. It’s also just a short boat ride to Cotton Bayou and Terry Cove, two favorite spots for locals to anchor out, enjoy the sun, and gather with friends.

Marina Road is also home to the iconic Orange Beach Marina and the Mobile Big Game Fishing Club—a true hub for fishing enthusiasts. This marina is the site of many fishing tournaments throughout the year, which makes it a lively and exciting part of the community. And if you love good food, you’re in luck—right at the marina you’ll find Shipp’s Harbour Grill (formerly Fisher’s), a wonderful spot to grab a delicious meal with waterfront views. Just down the road, Tacky Jack’s offers a fun, laid-back atmosphere perfect for casual dining after a day on the water.

The location itself is hard to beat. Not only are you surrounded by world-class boating amenities, but you’re also just minutes from the public beach accesses along Perdido Beach Boulevard. Marina Road is golf-cart friendly, adding even more convenience for homeowners who love to zip around town without ever needing their car.

Because of its unbeatable setting, it’s no surprise that we’re seeing some of the most stunning new homes being built along Marina Road.
