Set directly on the shoreline at 24522 Perdido Beach Boulevard, this community feels like a beach retreat with a classic Romar Beach rhythm. I think that is why it stays in demand year after year. It offers the experience people imagine when they say “I want an Orange Beach condo,” but it does so in a way that feels approachable, usable, and honest to the coast.
The complex was developed in the mid-1980s, and while the footprint is mature, it does not feel dated. The grounds are lush and well-kept, and the buildings are positioned so the Gulf is always part of your day, even if you are staying in the Tennis Villas rather than a direct Gulf-front unit. I notice how the air here carries that familiar mix of salt and sun-warmed dune grass, and how the soundscape shifts from soft surf to laughter around the pools. It is an easy place to settle in.
Location and overall layout
Seaside sits in the heart of Orange Beach along Perdido Beach Boulevard, close to dining, shopping, and local attractions, yet it still feels tucked into its own little coastal pocket. You are minutes from everything, but when you are on the property, the Gulf becomes the main event. That convenience matters for personal use and it matters just as much for vacation rental performance.
The community is made up of multiple low-rise Gulf-front buildings paired with the Tennis Villas. I like this mix because it gives buyers options. Some people want to be right over the sand with that straight-on horizon view.
