Blackburn, is a thoughtfully planned development that aims to transform the northwest corner of Canal Road and Sampson Avenue into 76 beautiful single-family residential lots. The project, located within a Single-Family Residential (RS-1) zoning district, combines portions of the Blackburn Family Division Plat #2 Subdivision and the Jamaica Estates Subdivision.

The commission agreed to extend the review to the October 14, 2024, meeting, where we are optimistic about seeing the proposal move forward. Once approved, Oak Shores will undoubtedly add tremendous value to the local real estate market, creating new opportunities to build homes in a serene, coastal setting.
