Every summer, Orange Beach becomes more than a coastal town with beautiful water, sugar-white sand, waterfront homes, and marinas. It becomes a stage. The boats arrive polished and powerful. Crews step onto the docks with quiet confidence. Flags lift in the breeze. Cameras come out. The crowd gathers. And for a few electric days in July, sportfishing becomes the heartbeat of the Alabama Gulf Coast.
