ONO ISLAND HOA ADMISSION FEE
The Ono Island Property Owners Association (“POA”) Board of Directors (“BoD”) has remained focused on long-term stewardship of the community and thoughtful planning for the island’s ongoing needs. In August 2023, the Board approved a new Admission Fee of $8,000, a one-time charge applicable to any arm’s-length sale or transfer of a property on or after January 1, 2024. The Admission Fee is due at closing (upon delivery of deed). Effective January 1, 2024, the prior $500 transfer fee was eliminated.
From a practical perspective, this policy reflects a broader goal: to strengthen the POA’s financial footing so the community can continue to address priorities such as administration, operations, and infrastructure…
