Project Transforms Former Romar Beach Church Into a 100-Room Hotel

Orange Beach Alabama Hotel on Romar Beach Near Phoenix II Condos and Oasis

I keep a close eye on planning and zoning decisions in Orange Beach, because development along Perdido Beach Boulevard can influence traffic flow, rental patterns, and the overall feel of a stretch of shoreline. My takeaway

When a long-vacant property gets a credible plan and a clear set of operating rules, the entire corridor benefits, especially in peak season when parking and noise can make or break the experience.

Orange Beach Gulf State Parking Fees

On April 23, 2021, Gulf State Park started charging for parking at its four main beach access points in Orange Beach: Romar Beach, Cotton Bayou Beach, Alabama Point East, and Shell Beach. Patrols will be in place to enforce the parking fee, which can be paid for using the Parking Pay Stations (Kiosks) located in the parking lots. These Kiosks accept cash and credit cards, but do not dispense change.
