Happy New Year, Gulf Coast! I couldn’t think of a better way to welcome 2025 than by joining the fun at the Flora-Bama for the iconic Polar Bear Plunge. With the brisk Gulf waters setting the scene, this event was a refreshing (and chilly!) way to celebrate the start of the year.
As the crowd gathered, the energy was palpable. From seasoned plungers in themed costumes to first-timers nervously eyeing the Gulf, everyone was ready to take the plunge. The camaraderie and shared laughter made the chilly dip all the more memorable. After all, there’s nothing quite like an icy splash to energize your spirit and set a bold tone for the year ahead.
The Flora-Bama, an iconic landmark straddling the Alabama-Florida state line, always knows how to bring people together.
