Orange Beach Daily Report — June 29, 2025
By Meredith Amon | Real Estate Advisor | SearchtheGulf.com
Good morning from sunny Orange Beach!
Today’s conditions are a mixed bag, so if you’re planning to spend the day by the water, here’s what you need to know:
• Beach Flags: Yellow flags are flying today, which means medium hazard. We’ve got moderate surf and currents—so please swim with caution.
• Gulf Temperature: It’s a warm 87 degrees in the water. Perfect for a quick dip, just watch those currents.
• Surf & Current Conditions: Waves are about a foot, and we’re seeing a strong east-running current. Rip current risk is moderate—something to keep in mind if you’re heading in past the breakers.
• Weather: Expect partly sunny skies with a chance of pop-up showers and thunderstorms. Highs are in the upper 80s.
• Wind: A light breeze out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph—just enough to keep it from feeling too still.
• UV Index: Extreme. Lather up with sunscreen, grab your hat, and don’t forget to reapply often.
• Tides: High tide hits at 11:25 AM and low tide will be at 10:37 PM.
As a local real estate advisor who lives and works right here on the water, I always say—there’s nothing like life on the Gulf. Whether you’re planning a beach day or considering a move to our slice of paradise, I’m here to help you navigate every wave (real estate and otherwise).
Stay safe, stay hydrated, and if you need help finding your dream beach home, you know where to find me.
Warmly,
Meredith Amon
