Monday, December 9th – Explore Gulf State Park’s Winter Wonderland
What to Expect:
The Gulf State Park offers a chance to discover the wonders of its winter landscape during a guided walk that highlights the flora and fauna unique to the Gulf Coast’s cooler months. Afterward, channel your creativity with a holiday-themed oyster decoupage craft at the Learning Campus.
Meredith’s Tip:
I’ve always been amazed by how winter brings out the subtle beauty of Gulf State Park. Bring binoculars—you might catch a glimpse of migratory birds! And don’t worry if you’re not a “crafty” person; the educators are incredibly helpful and make it fun for all skill levels.

Tuesday, December 10th – Character Night at The Hangout
What to Expect:

Arrive early to secure a good spot for photos, and don’t skip the shrimp tacos—they’re a local favorite! The Hangout is such a fun place, especially during the holidays, with its twinkling lights and festive decorations.
