Invincible Boats at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show: Booth 2032 & Pier 66 Sea Trials
Invincible is a name you hear every day around Orange Beach, Ono Island, and Perdido Pass. Here is where to see five of their boats in Fort Lauderdale, and what I would look for if you step aboard.
Every fall, a lot of Gulf Coast boaters quietly start watching the calendar for Fort Lauderdale. This year, Invincible is giving us a reason to look closer.
The 67th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show runs October 28 through November 1, 2026. It is billed as the largest in-water boat show in the world, and it is spread across several waterfront locations rather than one big hall. Invincible Boats will be in two of them: a booth inside the Broward County Convention Center, and a set of sea trials out of Pier 66.
If you have ever stood near Perdido Pass on a good morning, you know the feeling. One boat after another heads out toward the Gulf, and every so often one goes by that makes you stop what you are doing and watch. For me, a lot of those turn out to be Invincibles. I find myself pointing them out to whoever is standing next to me, usually before I realize I am doing it.
I want to be clear about where I sit. I am not a dealer, and I do not sell boats. I am a Gulf Coast and Ono Island real estate advisor who spends a great deal of time around people who love their boats, and Invincible comes up constantly. When something that popular on our water is on display in one place, it is worth a post. If you are a boater here, consider this a heads-up on a show worth knowing about.
Step aboard in Booth 2032, then take two out on the water
Here is how it breaks down. Inside the convention center, in Booth 2032, you can step aboard and explore three boats. Out at Pier 66, two more models are set up for sea trials, so you can feel the performance, handling, and capabilities firsthand.
Inside the convention center · Booth 2032
33’ Catamaran
The shortest cat on this list, and a good place to start if you are curious what twin hulls feel like underfoot. Step aboard, look at the deck, and picture it at your own dock.
38’ Catamaran
A step up in length, which matters the moment you think about your slip or lift. Ask for the dimensions in writing and compare them to the water and the dock you actually have.
39’ Open Fisherman
The fishing-focused layout, built around open deck space. If your weekends are about getting offshore and working a spread, this is the one to stand in and imagine a full crew.
On the water · Pier 66 sea trials
46’ Catamaran
Invincible’s flagship cat, and the biggest boat on this list. It is the one to take out if you want to know how a larger boat feels on open water.
Peter Miller’s 43’ Open Fisherman
Peter is a three-time World Sailfish Champion and the host of Uncharted Waters on Discovery, and he is an Invincible brand ambassador. Invincible describes the 43 as its flagship monohull, so this is the open fisherman to try if you want to see the top of that side of the lineup.
Invincible is also running sea trials from Pier 66 Marina. You can request one on Invincible’s FLIBS 2026 page.
“A brochure tells you what a boat is. A sea trial tells you how it feels, and on our water, how it feels is everything.”
Why these boats make sense around Orange Beach and Ono Island
If you spend any time near Perdido Pass on a good morning, you already know the look. Boats like these head out with real purpose.
Invincible is a Florida company, based in Opa-locka and founded in 2006 around the original 36’ Open Fisherman. They build semi-custom saltwater fishing boats, and the lineup now spans from that 33’ size up to the 46’ Catamaran. I have written about them before, including my take on the Invincible 36 Open Fisherman as a match for Gulf Coast living, and my Invincible posts and Featured Boats on the Gulf Coast collection are where I keep adding to the story.
Here is why I think this show is worth a look from our corner of the world:
Offshore out of Perdido Pass
This is the big draw. Many of us fish the Gulf of America, and the run starts at the Pass. Boats built around offshore fishing are what you see heading out and coming back in every day.
Cats on a choppy day
A catamaran is a twin-hull boat, and the reason people love them is the stable ride. Think about the days when the water is not glassy. That is when a sea trial tells you something a spec sheet cannot.
Open fishermen for the crew
An open fisherman is a fishing-focused layout with room to work. If your boat is mostly about friends, rods, and a long day, that open deck is the point.
Bay days, Ono Island, and Old River
Not every day is offshore. Plenty of days are the Intracoastal, Old River, and a sandbar with the family. A big boat still has to live in our canals and bays, so how it handles at slow speed matters too.
A starting point
Pick the boat for the water you actually have. The best offshore boat in the world is a hard day if it does not fit the dock you are tying it to.
Here is something I see over and over. Someone falls in love with a boat, and a little later it dawns on them that the house, the water, and the dock all have to agree with it. Or it goes the other way: they fall for a waterfront home first and then start asking what they can keep out back. Both are completely natural, and both end up in the same conversation. I would rather you have that conversation early and enjoy it.
What I would do at the show, and what I would ask on a sea trial
What is a sea trial?
It is a test ride. You go out on the water and feel how the boat performs and handles before you decide anything. Think of it as the difference between looking at a house online and walking through it.
At the show
Start at Booth 2032
Step aboard all three. Stand at the helm, walk the deck, and notice how the space feels with a full crew in mind.
Plan the sea trial
Pier 66 is where you go for the performance side. Request your sea trial ahead on Invincible’s show page so you are not hoping for an opening.
Take a measuring-tape mindset
Whatever you like, get the dimensions in writing. Overall length, beam, draft, and clearance are what you will compare to your own dock, lift, and route.
Questions to ask on the sea trial
1. How does it ride when it gets bumpy?
Ask to feel it in a little chop, not only flat water. That is closer to a real day out of the Pass.
2. How does it handle slowly?
Docking, turning in tight spots, and idling through a no-wake zone are daily life around here. Pay attention to how easy it is to place the boat.
3. What does the fishing layout look like with a crew?
Look at where people stand, where the gear goes, and how the deck works when it is full.
4. What are the real dimensions?
Draft and overall clearance, in writing, so you can check them against your own waterway and lift.
5. What would I want to change?
These are semi-custom boats, so ask what the options are and what the boat looks like set up the way you would use it.
Before you go
Take a few photos of your own dock and lift, and write down the dimensions. Standing on a boat is easier to judge when you know your own numbers.
Where the boat meets the house
When someone who loves boats starts looking at waterfront homes with me, the first question is rarely about the kitchen. It is about the dock.
On Ono Island, that is a perfectly sensible place to start. Many waterfront homes have a private dock and a boat lift, and some have a boathouse, so the conversation about a house and the conversation about a boat tend to run together. I walk through the island, the water, and the lots on my Ono Island page.
A few things I tell people to pay attention to. Water depth at the dock matters, and so does the tide, which is why my tide guide for Ono Island and Orange Beach is worth keeping open in another tab. Lifts, pilings, and dock repairs are their own world, and my page on Ono Island contractors and home services is the place to start for exactly that. And the route out to the Pass is part of the home, whether you go by way of Old River or the Intracoastal. If you want the bigger picture, my guide to the big water around Ono Island walks through it.
If you are looking at a boat like these and a house at the same time, you are in good company. I would rather you look at the water first and fall in love with the house second.

Waterfront and a boat, in the same conversation
If you are thinking about Ono Island or Orange Beach waterfront living, tell me how you use the water. A boat, a dock, and a lift all change what the right house looks like. Call or text me and we will start with the water.

The questions
Invincible at the Fort Lauderdale boat show: your questions
Click a question to open the answer.
When is the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show?
The show runs Wednesday, October 28 through Sunday, November 1, 2026. It is the 67th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and it is spread across several waterfront locations, with the Broward County Convention Center and Pier Sixty-Six Marina both on the list.
Where will Invincible Boats be at the show?
Two places. Inside the Broward County Convention Center, Invincible is in Booth 2032 with a 33’ Catamaran, a 38’ Catamaran, and a 39’ Open Fisherman you can step aboard. Out on the water at Pier 66, there are two more models for sea trials: a 46’ Catamaran and Peter Miller’s 43’ Open Fisherman.
Invincible’s own show page, which I link above, is where you can request a sea trial and see the latest details.
What is a sea trial, and why would I take one?
A sea trial is a test ride. You go out on the water with the team and feel how the boat performs, handles, and behaves before you ever think about buying one. For Gulf Coast boaters, that is the part a brochure cannot give you.
What is the difference between a catamaran and an open fisherman?
A catamaran has twin hulls, which is why cats are known for a stable ride. An open fisherman is a fishing-focused layout built around open deck space and a center console. Both are popular for offshore fishing out of Perdido Pass; the right one depends on how you fish and how you want the boat to feel.
Do I need to go to Fort Lauderdale to be a serious Gulf Coast boater?
Not at all. This is simply a show worth knowing about if you love boats like these. Many of us run them out of Orange Beach and Ono Island, and it is fun to see the lineup in one place.
Do Ono Island homes have docks and lifts for boats like these?
Many Ono Island waterfront homes have a private dock and a boat lift, and some have a boathouse. What matters is the water in front of the house and the route out to the Pass. I walk through that on my Ono Island page, and the tide guide is worth a look too.
If you are thinking about waterfront living and a boat in the same breath, call or text me and we will start with the water.
Are you affiliated with Invincible Boats?
No. I am not a dealer and I do not sell boats. I write about Invincible because they are so popular on our water, and because boats and waterfront homes belong in the same conversation. My business is Gulf Coast and Ono Island real estate.
Love the boats? Let’s talk about the water they live on.
Whether you go to Fort Lauderdale or simply enjoy seeing what is out there, I hope this gives you a few good questions to bring with you. If a boat, a dock, and a Gulf Coast waterfront life are all part of the picture, begin with my Ono Island page, browse Orange Beach, and then call or text me.
The right home is the one that fits the life you want on the water.
